<p>The Jupyter Foundation is excited to announce that we have contracted with <a href="https://jasongrout.org/">Jason Grout</a> to be a part-time Jupyter Foundation Community Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to strengthen the Foundation and assist the Foundation and its members in providing value to Project Jupyter.</p> <p>In the year and a half the Foundation has existed, it has funded a number of strategic initiatives, including JupyterCon 2025, a series of Jupyter Workshops, community development and capacity grants, and a strategic marketing effort. In that time, we’ve found that planning, delivering, and improving these initiatives is difficult without dedicated capacity and expertise.</p> <p>With the capacity and experience provided by this role, we are excited to continue growing our connection with and value in the community. Jason has a long history of service to the Jupyter project, and has spent several years serving on Jupyter’s Executive Council and more recently on the Jupyter Foundation Board. We’re excited for the expertise, wisdom, and positive spirit that Jason will bring to this role.</p> <p>This is a new role, and we’ll shape the responsibilities and key deliverables as we learn.
